The main objective of exercise rehab is to reduce pain and prevent injuries.
This is best for clients with low risk injuries, although we are equipped to work with health care professionals and practitioners to help fix your injuries.
Our exercise rehab program ensures you recover the right way to activate dormant stability muscles; one for safer training, AND two to get more effective results in your training.
We have a better understanding of individual biomechanics of the body.
These sessions are to help assist in managing your aches, pains & movement dysfunction.
We are accredited by Rehab Trainer, a key partner with the Australian Institute of Fitness.
Being a Level 1 Nutrition coach means that the team at EJ Fitness is able to coach you through practical improvements in your training, eating, stress, other lifestyle choices and overall health. Nutrition coaching isn’t just about nutrition. In fact, the more we work with our clients, the more we realise: Helping people change food behaviours and choices is almost never just about the food.
EJ Fitness owner, Emma, set out to complete her Level 1 course because she wanted to learn more about nutrition and how it influences a person’s health & fitness. In turn, this ensures she can assist her clients in eating better themselves & help others around them do the same.
Having a deeper understanding of nutrition, the authority to coach it, and the ability to turn what Emma knows into results. We don’t just focus on fat loss. Depending on what your goals and needs are will impact on what we will need to assess. We can work with the general population, athletes, older clients as well as work around food sensitivities. Your goals might be, building strength, athletic/performance goals, improving your health or feeling energetic. From there, we will set out a plan and starting working on building a relationship with you. These are some of the brief points we look at:
- What enables you to make changes?
- Why do you resist change?
- What do you think you need but really need?
- What stories are you telling yourself about who you are, and how does that affect your choices?
- How ‘we’ will properly assess you and track your progress.
- How can we help you set realistic goals?
- How can we help you understand the trade-offs required to get to those goals?
- How can we figure out what is standing in the way of those goals?
Emma practices what she preaches. This helps with her approach to coaching as her life experiences help her empathise and build relationship with her clients to ensure they get the result they desperately need and want.
